Kevin, company director, originally started off in Hockley as a young lad working in a local furnishing shop. This gained his experience from an early age in furniture and found himself branching out to a bedroom fitting company called Hammonds, where he plied his trade for 20 years. Moving on from Hammonds is where Kevin started up his own business with KAB where he now takes a more back seat role to oversee the running of the business and is often the project manager, although you may experience a rare sight with him on the tools from now and then.<\/p><\/div>

Shaun<\/span> <\/div>
General Builder<\/div>

On board with Kevin is his son, Shaun, who was also with Hammonds for a 6 year period. Shaun has the carpentry background and knowledge from his time at Hammonds and is constantly learning new skills to develop into following into the footsteps of his father.<\/p><\/div>

Chris<\/span> <\/div>
Painter & Decorator<\/div>

Chris works for us full time and as a trade, is a painter and decorator, but will get involved with any work that needs carrying out and uses his knowledge and expertise to fulfil this. An ex firearms officer who has swapped his machine gun for a mastic gun!<\/p><\/div>

Neil<\/span> <\/div>
General Builder<\/div>

Coming from demolition of 25 years, Neil is more used to knocking buildings down but is now keen to start building them back up! The newest member of the team, with a foreman background and an eager drive to push the business on and reach it's full potential.<\/p><\/div>

Dan<\/span> <\/div>
Plumber<\/div>

Dan is our plumber, or heating engineer as he likes to correct you by, and has been used by us for a good part of 7 years now. Dan is commercially, domestically and industrially trained so can deal with any size pipe thrown his way. He is gas safe registered.<\/p><\/div>

Simon<\/span> <\/div>
General Builder<\/div>

Simon, Kevin's brother, started off with Kevin in the same furnishing shop in Hockley. He went on to do electrics where he done this for a good part of 15 years. He is now involved in a lot of the general building and maintenance work that we do and will often been seen on site.<\/p><\/div>

Trevor<\/span> <\/div>
Landscape Gardener<\/div>

Trevor, another of Kevin's 4 brothers, and the twin to Kevin, is a landscape gardener who helps out from time to time on any groundworks and gardening works that need doing. He has his own business, popular landscapes, but helps out when he can on the bigger projects and will also help out with any building works.<\/p><\/div>

  • KAB are a family run business from Rochford, Essex. Founded in 1998 the company started off as a bedroom and home office install company, this further branched out to the building game come the early 2000’s, expanding in 2012 into the commercial leisure industry whilst still carrying on with domestic projects.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    • We use subcontractors in our work and most of the time they are given 5 days a week work from ourselves which keeps them busy enough to work near on full time for us.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
